TREK2024 (transform, renew, empower, kickstart)

Teachers will learn about protocols they can use that follow the Common Instructional Framework (CIF for short). The CIF involves students learning through different strategies: scaffolding, questioning, writing to learn, collaborative group work, and classroom talk. In this session, teachers will rotate through stations while they learn about how they can keep their students engaged through different activities. Teachers will be encouraged to think about how they can incorporate protocols that will help take their students' learning beyond lectures and worksheets.
